Tape It on Tuesday

Hello everyone! Today I have a bright and fun card that highlights the Tape It Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! When you stamp the images it has the look of washi tape which is very popular these days. The sentiment is from the recently retired Bring on the Cake.

Wednesday evening the new 2014-2015 annual catalogue will be revealed to the Canadian Stampin' Up Demonstrators at a movie theater! FUN! I can't wait to see the new In Colors coming out in June and all the new stamp sets and products! This is my first "demonstrators only" sneak peek; I don't quite know what to expect but I'm sure it will be a blast! Stay tuned!

Rainboots

Well it was a snowy, sloppy mess here in Calgary yesterday and I thought this cute card would brighten up things a bit! I love the bright and bold colors of Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Tempting Turquoise - the Brights Collection from Stampin' Up! is my favorite color family! This cute rainboot is from the Bootifuls Occasions Stamp Set - I don't own this set (yet!) - but had the opportunity to ink it up at the crafting retreat I attended last weekend! It is definitely on my wish list - I hope it doesn't retire before I can get my hands on it! The retired list will be released on Monday - stay tuned!

Bunny Hops

I hope everyone's week is off to a fabulous start! I spent this last weekend in Banff at a crafting retreat hosted by my upline, Allison. Just picture 18 women (including several other SU demonstrators) making cards and scrapbooking into the wee wee hours of the morning - it was a blast! I will share some of my creations with you over the next few days. I made a couple of these cute Easter Bunny cards inspired by Pintrest!

Happy Saturday!

I have another Easter card to share today that was inspired by several I saw on Pintrest. I simply used my Extra-Large Oval Punch to cut out some DSP (the yellow egg is from the Polka Dot Parade DSP and the other 2 are from Sycamore Street DSP (retired)). Aren't those clouds cute?! They are actually from the Cupcake Builder Punch! I sponged around the edges of the clouds with some Soft Sky ink. I made the "grass" on this card by using scissors - it will be SO much easier when my fringe scissors come in my next Stampin' Up! order! They can be found in the Spring Catalogue for only $13.50.

My Favorite Tree

I just love the tree image from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set; I think it has seen the most ink in my stamp collection! I used my Color Coach to help me choose Cajun Craze as an accent color behind the sentiment.

Espresso and Cantaloupe!

No I am not talking about what I had for breakfast today....those are the colors used in today's card! Early Espresso with accents of Crisp Cantaloupe combine to make this card simple and classic. I inked up one of the stamp sets I have used the most in my collection....Thoughts and Prayers.
