Happy Easter!

I created a fun Easter card to send to my sisters and mom this year using the Arrange A Wreath bundle. I cut one layer of the wreath with Purple Posy and another layer with Pear Pizzazz and also stamped various eggs using Pool Party, Highland Heather, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, and Petal Pink. I'm going to miss this bundle! It is retiring soon and is a must to add to your collection in my opinion! It has images and sentiments to cover many holidays including Easter, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Go to my online store ASAP and add it to your collection before it is gone forever!!

Stamps: Arrange A Wreath
Ink: Basic Gray, Highland Heather, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, Pool Party
Paper: Basic White, Pear Pizzazz, Highland Heather, Purple Posy
Other: Wreath Builder Dies, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 1/4" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon

The Last Chance List was released a few days ago, and things are selling out fast!  Click here to be taken to my online store to see all the items retiring. Many are discounted up to 60%! Don't delay....many items have already sold out.

I  hope you are having a restful Easter weekend....stay safe everyone!

Easter Egg Cut Out

I think Easter is my favorite holiday - not that I am super-religious or anything, but I just love the spring colours, the cute bunnies and chicks...and chocolate of course! Here's another Easter card I made recently, CASE'd from US demonstrator Tami White.
The stripes were made using the super-versatile set called Work of Art which is a stamp set I received for free during convention in Salt Lake City in 2014 - I hope it's going to stick around! In April the new annual catalogue will be revealed to demonstrators and the retiring list will be released. There's so many great sets in the annual catalogue that sadly tend to get "a little less air time" with the fabulous Occasions catalogues SU releases in the fall and spring! What stamps are on your "please don't leave" list?
Don't forget to choose your free Sale-A-Bration goodies by the end of March with every $60 purchase!
Happy Stampin'!

Sale-A-Bration Easter Chick for SUO #143!

Can you believe there's only 3 weeks left of Sale-A-Bration?!! It's such a wonderful time of the year, when you can choose FREE GIFTS with every $60 purchase! This cute little chickie is from the free SAB set Honeycomb Happiness.
I did a little paper piercing with the chick by first stamping him (or is it her?!) on Whisper White cardstock and then a second time on Daffodil Delight cardstock, then using my paper snips to cut each one out and adhered them together; it adds a little dimension and texture along with his Pumpkin Pie beak and feet. I used my Extra Large Oval Punch to punch "eggs" from the It's My Party DSP stack - it isn't just for birthdays! As soon as I saw the challenge over at SUO Challenges, #143,I knew I wanted to enter - the theme is "Easter Fun" and I love everything Easter!

Head over to my online store so you can choose Honeycomb Happiness as your free gift before it's gone in 3 short weeks! Happy Stampin!

Bunny Hops

I hope everyone's week is off to a fabulous start! I spent this last weekend in Banff at a crafting retreat hosted by my upline, Allison. Just picture 18 women (including several other SU demonstrators) making cards and scrapbooking into the wee wee hours of the morning - it was a blast! I will share some of my creations with you over the next few days. I made a couple of these cute Easter Bunny cards inspired by Pintrest!

Supplies Used:
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist, DSP scraps from my scrap bin!
Ink: Pink Pirouette, Basic Blacker Marker
Stamps: Delightful Dozen
Punches: Small Oval, Large Oval
Big Shot: Ovals Collection Framelits

Thanks for hopping by!

Happy Saturday!

I have another Easter card to share today that was inspired by several I saw on Pintrest. I simply used my Extra-Large Oval Punch to cut out some DSP (the yellow egg is from the Polka Dot Parade DSP and the other 2 are from Sycamore Street DSP (retired)). Aren't those clouds cute?! They are actually from the Cupcake Builder Punch! I sponged around the edges of the clouds with some Soft Sky ink. I made the "grass" on this card by using scissors - it will be SO much easier when my fringe scissors come in my next Stampin' Up! order! They can be found in the Spring Catalogue for only $13.50.

 Supplies Used:
Ink: Soft Sky
Paper: Soft Sky, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, DSP
Big Shot: Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Punches: Extra-Large Oval Punch, Cupcake Builder Punch, Envelope Punch Border (for corner rounder)

Have a great weekend!

Egg-stra Special!

Easter is just around the corner and I pulled out my marvelous markers from the Subtles collection and inked up the Easter egg from the stamp set Easter Blossoms (which sadly is retired). I love the versatility of the Stampin' Write Markers and use my ALL the time - they are a great way to have all 38 colors in your collection and are much cheaper than if you bought every ink pad. They are not just for coloring in lined images either - I used my markers to ink up the egg stamp and also to get the 2-toned greeting. Today's Easter card also fulfills the SUO Challenge #94 this week - to create something for Easter!
Be sure to clean your stamp well between switching colors using your Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist!

Supplies Used:
Paper: Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Marina Mist
Ink: Calypso Coral, Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron,Wisteria Wonder
Stamp Set: Easter Blossoms (retired)
Accessories: Decorative Label Punch,  Calypso Coral & Wisteria Wonder 3/8" ruffled ribbon (retired)

Happy Stampin'!
