I recently participated in a team swap where we each chose a stamp set from the new Holiday Catalogue then created 11 cards using that stamp set. I chose Project Life's Holiday Cheer set. To be honest, this stamp set was not my first choice for the swap but I love how my card turned out. It was a lot of work but well worth it in my opinion! What do you think?!
My piece of paper started out as a plain ol' piece of Whisper White! The colors used were Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Garden Green, and Melon Mambo. I used Crystal Effects to create the "buttons" and All is Calm Snowflake Embellishments as the "necklace" charm. Silver Baker's Twine was used as well (and required a lot of patience to thread through the snowflakes I might add)! In all I used 3 stamps from the Project Life Holiday Cheer set. All supplies including ink, paper, punches, etc. can be found in my online store.
Thanks for stopping by!

Where Art Thou Garden Green?
Have you ever looked and looked for something and cannot figure out where it could be?! That has happened to me and my Garden Green Ink Pad! I KNOW I own it because I recently bought the reinker for my "old style" ink pad. I even have proof of ownership by having it officially "checked off" in my catalogue (yes - it's true - I sometimes can't remember what I own and what I don't own!!). You see, I just started purchasing more ink pads in the last few months. Sure, I owned a few, but I felt that since I had all the markers, I didn't need the ink pads. Wrong! Having the ink pads makes stamping SO much easier - and quicker too. So I remember being surprised that I owned Garden Green - but happy - and I decided to get the reinker for my "old" ink pad. Now where did it run off to?!
Sigh. As I continue to hunt for the elusive ink pad, I thought I would share my first Christmas card of the season. It's never too early to start, right?!
See that fabulous tag? It is made from the new Kraft paper which comes in a pack of 12 sheets, 12 x 12 size, for only $7.50 (CA). It is heavier than card stock and is a great neutral alternative! You can find it on page 192 of the annual catalogue and can get a pack for yourself at my online store.
Wish me luck as the hunt for Garden Green continues....
