Darling Donkeys for Sale-A-Bration

Sale-A-Bration is in full swing right now! With every $60 purchase, you can choose a free item including 3 different packs of DSP and 4 different stamp sets! There are also two different level 2 items to choose for free with a $120 purchase. One of the freebies you can choose is the Darling Donkeys stamp set - I just love these adorable little donkeys and created this fun birthday card. I used the Balloon Bouquet punch from the annual catalogue to punch balloons from the Oh So Ombre 6x6 DSP pack and, my favorite, the Flower & Field DSP - other free choices right now with Sale-A-Bration until the end of February! Who doesn't love free, right?!!

Which Sale-A-Bration freebie are you going to choose?!  Shop now at kristaclark.stampinup.net.

Sale-A-Bration Sneak Peek!

I am loving the large sentiment stamps that Stampin' Up! has created lately including Botanicals For You available during Sale-A-Bration (SAB) 2016. You can choose this stamp set for free when you place an order of $60 Canadian (before taxes and shipping) between January 5, 2016, and March 31, 2016, AND you can choose between wood-mount OR clear-mount! As a demonstrator we have had the opportunity to preorder from the new catalogue and earn SAB items too!
I used some of this year's new In-Colours (2015-2017) including Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, and Tip Top Taupe along with some Go Wild DSP in the background and Cherry On Top Washi Tape along the edge. A couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels add just a little bit of sparkle and dimension. I was inspired by a card by SU Artisan Amy O'Neill.

Have you got plans for New Year's Eve? It will be an early night for me as I am working New Year's Day as well as on the weekend at my "regular" job. I think it will be a perfect night to curl up with my new Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogues and plan my next order! Both will be available to order from on January 5. If you would like a copy of the catalogues shoot me a message and I would be happy to send them off to you!

Happy New Year!!

Birthday Balloons

Balloons are fun for anyone, any age in my opinion. I have surprised my husband a couple of times with a balloon bouquet for special occasions and he said no one had ever gotten him balloons before! Awwww. They are fun, bright, and cheery and you don't have to spend a fortune (even better!) I created this birthday card for my stash when I was at a crafting retreat in beautiful Banff recently.
Supplies Used:
Paper: Strawberry Slush, Whisper White, Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Strawberry Slush, Back to Black DSP,
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Strawberry Slush, Crushed Curry
Stamps: Age Awareness
Punches: Owl Builder, Extra Large Oval

It doesn't take long to create a fun card for any age!

Happy Stampin'!

Bright Birthday for RMH Charity

Happy Friday! This afternoon is the start of the Calgary's Stampin' Up! Fall Conference. It is the first of 12 being held in Canada for demonstrators to get together and Inspire. Create.Share. With a product playground, business session, and after party it is sure to be a fun couple of days!

Each attendee is being given the chance to design a bright and cheery card for a chance to win $50 in SU product of our choice. The cards will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House charity which is near and dear to the heart of Stampin' Up! Here is the card I am submitting:

And the inside:
I used the Circle Thinlit to create my card and my favorite DSP called Sweet Taffy - I just love the bright colors and hope the people at Ronald McDonald House like it as well! Kinda Eclectic and Embellished Events were the stamp sets I used.

Happy Stampin'!

Convention Swap

I thought I would share with you the swap card I made for convention. This is my first time attending the Stampin' Up! annual convention in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I am so excited (and nervous!) I hope my fellow demonstrators like my creation! I made about 35 of these card fronts to swap with fellow demonstrators. As a newbie it is always hard to tell if your creations are "up to par" with other SU demonstrators. I will be swapping these for some other demonstrators' creations for ideas and inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Paper: Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Jet Black StazOn, Basic Black
Big Shot: On Film Framelits, Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder
Punches: Scallop Edge Border
Accessories: Calypso Coral Stampin' Emboss Powder, Embossing Buddy, Heat Tool, SNAIL adhesive,Tangerine Tango Baker's Twine, Scissors, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

To order the supplies to create your own go to  my online store!
I will share some details about convention next week!
